The Nazis practically breed conspiracy theories by the pound, and given HitlerÕs verified interests in flying saucers, legends of the Holy Grail, the Spear of Longinus, Eastern mysticism, and the occult, itÕs no wonder. Since most of the early Nazi party members were drawn from the ranks of earlier racial, occult nationalist groups (later outlawed once Hitler consolidated powerŅDer Fuhrer did not like competition, even in the occult ranks!), it should be no surprise that most of the Nazi hierarchy shared his views. From left to right: Goering, Goebbels, and Himmler, HitlerÕs equally occult-minded chiefs (Himmler, in particular, was obsessed with mysticism and secret societies, and intended the SS to be a chivalric order similar the legendary Teutonic Knights); liÕl Adolf himself; mystical poet Dietrich Eckhart and professor Karl Haushofer (founder of ŌGeo-PoliticsĶ), HitlerÕs mentors in occult racialism; and Allen Dulles, future head of the CIA who, working for the postwar OSS, smuggled Nazi scientists into NASA, turning the V-2 into the Saturn 5.
